MENTOREDGE
MentorEdge: Mentoring CIMplified is an online, self-paced course designed to empower both current and aspiring mentors with practical insights and tools for effective mentoring. Developed by the Centre for Intrinsic Motivation, MentorEdge brings together essential learnings from our work with state governments in Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka since 2014, focusing on peer learning, mentoring, and role modeling to strengthen the education system.
This course aligns with the vision of NEP 2020 and supports the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM) by emphasising the critical role of mentoring in teacher education. MentorEdge provides a comprehensive approach to mentoring, offering strategies and reflections to enhance skills, foster professional growth, and create impactful mentoring experiences.
Currently in its pilot phase with volunteers from various government and non-government organizations, MentorEdge aims to refine its content based on real-world feedback, ensuring it is both relevant and contextually grounded.
