Sandeep Mishra

Chair

Sandeep is a leading expert on how to effectively build systems and coalitions to drive sustainable impact at scale. He comes with close to two decades of experience working with public systems in India and other countries. He built and led successful multi-stakeholder coalitions such as the National Coalition for Education and the Gujarat Education Coalition. He has also held leadership positions in organisations including Central Square Foundation, STiR Education, Quest Alliance and Azim Premji Foundation. Sandeep holds advanced postgraduate degrees in Education, Socio-Political Philosophy and Environmental Ethics. 

Sriraman

Treasurer

Sriraman is a social sector thought leader and a finance expert. He is a management graduate and also a cost and management accountant by profession. He has been working in this domain for more than three decades and has experience of working with national and international organisations of repute, including at HelpAge India in the role of Chief Financial Officer, and also at WaterAid and the Public Health Foundation of India. He strives for transparency and accountability in the organisations with which he is associated. 

Moutushi Sengupta

Board Member

Moutushi is a social sector professional with over 25 years’ experience in shaping organisational strategies for systems change. She has successfully led India-wide programmes for MacArthur Foundation and Oxfam India while working extensively with the UK’s Department for International Development, in sectors including sexual and reproductive health of women and girls, climate mitigation, gender justice, health livelihoods and urban development. Moutushi holds two postgraduate degrees in Applied Environmental Economics and Business Administration and is an accredited life coach.

Dengle

Board Member

Bhagyashri Dengle, a seasoned development professional with over 30 years of experience, excels in institution building, governance, and gender transformative programming. As the Regional Director, Asia Pacific Region at Plan International, she shapes transformative strategies for girls’ empowerment through advocacy and gender transformative programs. A vital member of Plan International’s global leadership team, Bhagyashri played a pivotal role as Executive Director of Plan India for 14 years, significantly expanding its reach and impact, especially on girls. Her expertise spans grassroots work, leadership, and impactful initiatives in children, adolescents, and women’s issues.

Viji

Board Member

With extensive experience in the development sector, Viji specialises in education, organisational strategy, and leading diverse global teams. As the former Global M&E Head at STIR Education, she crafted and executed M&E strategies for behaviour change programs in government education systems at scale. Viji has collaborated with various stakeholders, including policymakers and donors. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Policy (Scale-Ups) at J-PAL South Asia, she continues her commitment to advancing impactful initiatives in education and development.
